New Delhi: The Bihar assembly elections are going to be very important for all political parties. All parties want to increase their political ground. Here, the main contest is considered to be between NDA and Mahagathbandhan. Seat sharing in both alliances remains a big issue. No announcement has been made by the NDA regarding seat sharing yet.
Chirag Paswan, the head of Lok Janshakti Party and Union Minister in the NDA government, has created a problem in seat sharing. According to information received from sources, Chirag Paswan wants to increase the stature of his party in the state politics this time. For this, he is demanding 50 seats, but JDU and BJP do not have that much space. The rest of the allies have also increased the tension in the NDA.
How many seats will the BJP and JDU contest?
According to information received from sources, the BJP and the JDU can contest an equal number of seats. It is expected that both parties can get 101-101 seats. There is also speculation that JDU can play the role of elder brother in Bihar. If this happens, JDU can be given up to 105 seats. This division will mean that there is good coordination between the two political parties. They also believe in each other’s dominance.
Chirag’s party demands bumper seats.
Chirag Paswan’s Lok Janshakti Party is demanding about 50 seats. However, this is not expected to happen at all. If NDA sources are to be believed, Chirag Paswan can get only 20 to 25 seats. Not only this, Chirag’s supporters are also demanding tomadee CM in front of the media. Right now, his demand for seats has become a headache for the BJP and the JDU.
How many seats are these parties expected to get
Other allies, Hindustani Awam Morcha and Rashtriya Lok Morcha, are expected to get some seats. Their number may be limited. HAM party is likely to get 5-8 seats. ALM can get 4 to 5 seats. From Patna to Delhi, there is a lot of brainstorming going on in NDA regarding seat sharing, but it has not been finalised yet.
