Aadhaar Card Update: Updating information related to Aadhaar card is going to be easier now. UIDAI (Unique Identification Authority of India) is preparing a new mobile app, which is currently named e-Aadhaar. Through this app, people will be able to update important information like their name, address, date of birth and mobile number from their smartphone itself.
What is e-Aadhaar app?
Let us tell you that e-Aadhaar will be an all-in-one digital app, through which Aadhaar related services can be used in a fast, secure and convenient manner. According to government sources, this app can be launched by the end of 2025.

For information, let us tell you that AI and Face ID technology will be used in this app, which will give users a secure digital experience. With this, except biometric updates like fingerprint and iris scan, all other updates will be able to be done from mobile sitting at home.
Now you will not have to go to the centers again and again
Let us tell you that the objective of UIDAI is that people do not have to go to the enrollment or update centers again and again. The process will be made paperless, fast and simple through the app. You will have to go to the Aadhaar center only for biometrics.
Data will be automatically linked to government documents
The specialty of this app will be that it will take the necessary information by itself. This will make it even easier to update the information in Aadhaar and the possibility of fraud will be reduced. Like-

Aadhaar Good Governance Portal also launched
Apart from this, the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) has also launched a new digital portal, which has been named Aadhaar Good Governance Portal. The purpose of this portal is to approve Aadhaar-related authentication quickly and provide better service to the users.
