Actually, the country’s third Vande Bharat Express train was flagged off by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on September 30, 2022. This Vande Bharat train runs between Mumbai Central and Gandhinagar Capital. This semi-high-speed train is being maintained and operated by Western Railway Zone.
Train number 20901/20902, the Mumbai Central-Gandhinagar Capital-Mumbai Central Vande Bharat Express, runs on the track every day except for one day a week. This train does not run on all Wednesdays of the month. Mumbai Central-Gandhinagar Capital Vande Bharat Express covers a distance of 521 km at 06:30 pm. Train numbers 20901/20902 Vande Bharat Express, running between Mumbai Central and Gandhinagar Capital, will now stop at eight railway stations instead of seven. Thus, this train will stop at Borivali, Vapi, Valsad, Navsari, Surat, Vadodara Junction, Anand Junction and Ahmedabad Junction.
Vande Bharat Express (train number 20901) departs from Mumbai Central at 6:00 am and reaches Gandhinagar Capital at 12:25 pm. On the return journey, train number 20902 departs from Gandhinagar at 14:05 and arrives at Mumbai Central at 8:30 pm.
