The Indian Meteorological Department has issued a warning of heavy rain in the districts of Uttar Pradesh.

Heavy rain alert with thunder in these districts

According to IMD, heavy rain with thunder is expected in Saharanpur, Shamli, Muzaffarnagar, Baghpat and Meerut. Apart from these, a heavy rain alert has been issued in Bijnor, Amroha, Moradabad and Rampur. IMD has expressed hope to be cautious during the rain.

It is expected to be alert here to avoid floods, waterlogging or other disasters. Rainfall with thunder and lightning may continue in many districts. The temperature also dropped due to rain in some of these areas, where people got relief from the scorching heat. It is expected to be cautious in view of the possibility of lightning here.

Normal life affected

The Indian Meteorological Department informed that road traffic and normal life are likely to be affected due to heavy rains. People have been instructed to avoid unnecessary travel. Stay away from contact with electricity and water and have been appealed to follow government warnings and instructions.
