Design and Customization
At first glance, the new Yezdi Roadster looks similar to the old one, but on closer inspection, many changes are visible. The biggest change is seen in the rear, where now a small fender and swingarm-mounted number plate holder have been given, giving the bike a bold, bobber-style look.

The seat design has also been changed. It now comes with a modular split-seat design, in which the pillion seat can be removed. The handlebar and adjustable instrument cluster at the front have also come with a new design, which will eliminate the problem of sunlight glare.
Apart from this, Yezdi is now also offering 6 factory custom kits, which include more than 20 accessories, such as handlebars, crash guards, visors and touring gear. You can also buy them separately if you want.
Chassis and Handling
The rear tyre size has been increased in the new Roadster. It now comes with a wider tyre of 150/70-17 instead of 130/80-17, which will give the bike better grip and stability. The front tyre remains the same (100/90-18).
The frame has also been changed. Although it is a dual-cradle frame, it has been strengthened and the subframe has also been updated. The suspension and brakes are mostly the same as before, but the spring and damping rates have been changed, which is expected to improve handling.
The seat height has increased by 5mm to 795mm, while the weight remains almost the same as before (183.4kg). However, after filling the fuel tank it will reach 190-192kg.

Engine and Performance
The new Roadster is powered by a 334cc liquid-cooled ‘Alpha2’ engine. Although the power and torque figures remain the same as before (29.1hp and 29.6Nm), this engine has already been seen in the Jawa 42 FJ and Yezdi Adventure, where it delivers good performance.
Apart from this, the final drive ratio has also been changed. Now the rear sprocket has 2 more teeth, which will make low-speed riding even better.
