Up Monsoon Update: Like other states, monsoon is showing its colours in Uttar Pradesh too, due to which the situation is becoming frightening. Barring a few districts, there has been good rainfall in the remaining places. Due to heavy rains in many areas of western UP, the temperature level has dropped, and people have also got relief from the scorching heat.

Since morning, there has been a period of movement of clouds in many districts. Due to rain in some places of UP late at night, people got relief from the humid heat. There has been strong sunlight since morning in many districts, including Moradabad, Amroha, and  Sambhal. On the other hand, the Indian Meteorological Department has predicted thunderstorms and rain in 50 districts. Know a special report on the weather of UP below.

Rain alert in these districts of UP

According to the Indian Meteorological Department, heavy rains have been predicted in Rampur, Moradabad, Bareilly, Jhansi and Pilibhit. Apart from these, heavy rains with thunder and lightning are expected in Lalitpur Banda, Chitrakoot, Prayagraj and Kaushambi. Heavy rain alert has been issued in Fatehpur, Sonbhadra, Mirzapur, Gorakhpur, Basti and Sant Kabir Nagar.

Rain alert has been issued in Kushinagar, Maharajganj, Gonda, Siddharthnagar and Shravasti. IMD may record heavy rains in Bahraich, Lakhimpur Kheri, Sitapur, Hardoi and Kannauj. Heavy rains are also expected in Kanpur, Aligarh, Mathura, Agra, and  Hathras. There is a possibility of lightning in other districts, including Kasganj.

The Meteorological Department has predicted rain in Noida and Ghaziabad, and adjoining Delhi on Sunday. The sound of thundering clouds can also be heard here. The weather is also expected to be pleasant in UP’s cap, I tal Lucknow. According to experts, due to a low-pressure area formed in the Bay of Bengal, the monsoon is seen active in UP. Thunderstorms and rain may be seen at various places in the next three to four days.

The weather department has predicted heavy rain in Agra, Mathura, Hathras, Firozabad, Rampur, Moradabad and Bijnor. Moderate to light rain may also be seen in 20 districts on Monday.
