What is Bima Sakhi Yojana?

Under the LIC Bima Sakhi Yojana, women between 18 and 70 years of age can apply. Women who have passed class 10 are given preference under this scheme. Through this scheme, women get training for the first three years to become LIC agents. During the training, women are also given financial help.

In the first year, women get ₹7000. In the second year, they get ₹6000. In the third year, they receive ₹5000 per month. Along with this, if a woman sells insurance to someone during the training, she also earns a commission.

Not Just Training, You Also Get a Job

After completing the training, women can also get job opportunities through the Bima Sakhi Yojana. However, to get the job, the woman must be a graduate. After graduation and training, she can apply for the post of Apprentice Development Officer (ADO).

The main aim of this scheme is to increase women’s participation in the workforce and to improve their financial condition.

How to Apply

You can apply for this scheme at the LIC office or on the LIC website. To apply, your age must be 18 years or above.
