PM Kisan Yojana- PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana is a big scheme of the Central Government, under which more than 9 crore farmers get Rs 6,000 annually. This amount is given in 3 installments of Rs 2,000 each every 4 months. This money is sent directly to the farmers’ accounts by the Central Government through DBT transfer. This benefit is given to those farmers who have up to 2 hectares of land and who are citizens of India.

So far, 19 installments of the scheme have been released by the central government and now the 20th installment is awaited. According to the rules of PM Kisan Yojana, the first installment is released between April-July, the second installment between August to November and the third installment between December to March, so if we look at it in terms of 4 months, the installment time is getting completed in July. There is a possibility that Prime Minister Narendra Modi can release the 20th installment before Raksha Bandhan. However, official confirmation is yet to be made.

These farmers do not get the benefit of PM Kisan Yojana

According to the terms and conditions of PM Kisan Yojana, the following farmers will not get the benefit of the scheme. All institutional landholder farmers are not eligible for this scheme.
Those farmer families in which one or more members hold or have held constitutional posts.
All serving or retired officers and employees of the Ministries/Offices/Departments of the Central/State Government and its field units, Central or State Public Sector Undertakings and attached offices/autonomous institutions under the Government as well as regular employees of local bodies (excluding Multi Tasking Staff/lV Class/Group D employees)
Former and present Ministers/Ministers of State, former or present Members of Lok Sabha/Rajya Sabha/State Legislative Assemblies/State Legislative Councils, former and present Mayors of Municipal Corporations and former and present Chairpersons of District Panchayats.
Doctors, Engineers, Lawyers, Chartered Accountants and Architects registered with professional bodies.
All retired pensioners in receipt of pension of Rs 10,000 or more (except multi-tasking employees), all individuals who have paid income tax in the previous assessment year.

How to do eKYC

  • First of all go to the official website https://pmkisan.gov.in.
  • Go to the “Farmers Corner” section and click on the “e-KYC” option.
  • Enter your Aadhaar number and registered mobile number.
  • After verification an OTP will be sent to the mobile number. Enter the OTP and eKYC will be done.

How to link mobile with Aadhaar:

If their Aadhaar number is not linked to their mobile number and finger is not being detected, they can go to the Play Store and download the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi app and do eKYC through face.

How to check your name in the list

  1. Visit the official website of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana https://pmkisan.gov.in/.
  2. Now click on farmer corner. After clicking on farmer corner a new page will open.
  3. Here select the option of beneficiary list. After this a form will open.
  4. In this, first select the name of the state, then district, block and village.
  5. After filling all the information click on get report.
  6. As soon as you complete this process, the list of PM Kisan Yojana beneficiaries of your village will open in front of you.
  7. If your name is in the list, money will also come into your account.
