The government has also started giving direct help to girls studying under this scheme. The name of this scheme is Mukhyamantri Nari Shakti Yojana. Under this scheme, girls or women who have passed the pre-examination in examinations like UPSC or BPSC are given financial assistance by the government for the preparation of the mains examination.

If we talk about the benefits of this scheme, then let us tell you that if a girl student passes the UPSC pre-examination, she gets 1 lakh rupees. On the other hand, the girls who clear the BPSC pre-examination are given 50 thousand rupees. Recently, the state government has sent money to many women under this scheme. The benefits of this scheme are not limited to education only. This incentive amount is proving to be very effective for the students dreaming of becoming public servants in Bihar.

If someone clears the UPSC pre-exam, then the government gives them Rs 1 lakh for further preparation. Similarly, the students who clear the BPSC pre-exam get Rs 50,000. Recently, Rs 14.77 crore was given to 2955 women who cleared the BPSC pre-exam. Rs 50,000 each was sent to everyone’s account. The application has been pending due to incomplete applications of some candidates. Similarly, 102 girl students who cleared the UPSC pre-exam were given Rs 1 lakh each. The government also provides training to women for self-employment. Facilities like hostels and short stay homes are also being provided for working women. If any woman wants to take advantage of this scheme, then the application process for her is quite easy.

First of all, you have to go to the official website of the Social Welfare Department of the Government of Bihar and fill the online application form. After registration, a user ID is created through which the form can be filled by logging in. Apart from online, there is also an option for offline application. For this, the woman will have to go to the RTPS counter of her block office and submit the application form. There the Block Development Officer will check the form. Apart from this, the application can also be submitted at the One Stop Center. Documents like Aadhar card, residence certificate, ration card are necessary for the scheme.
