EPFO Website- The Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) provides many online facilities to its members, which you can use from its official portal. But sometimes the website does not work due to technical problems or downtime, causing problems to users. Especially when someone wants to check PF balance or file a claim.

Now there is no need to worry. With the help of UMANG app, you can avail many important PF services on mobile itself. Currently, 8.25% interest is also being credited to EPF accounts, so in such a situation, UMANG app is a very good and easy way to check PF balance and interest.

What is UMANG App?

UMANG app i.e. Unified Mobile Application for New-age Governance app is a government mobile platform, which provides almost all the services related to EPFO on smartphones. Through this, everything is possible like checking PF balance, making claims, activating UAN, getting scheme certificate etc.

Services available through UMANG app

1. Register and track claims

EPF members can file full or partial claim through UMANG app. Also, one can apply for pension scheme certificate under EPS-95 scheme.

2. Passbook and transaction history

PF members can view their account transactions for the last 3 months on the app. The detailed information can be downloaded in PDF format.

3. Download Pension Payment Order

Members of the EPS-95 scheme can download the payment order required to receive pension after retirement from the UMANG app.

4. UAN allotment and activation

For the first time, users can generate and activate Universal Account Number (UAN) through UMANG app. In this, identity is ensured through face authentication, making the process easy and safe.

Providing information about PF offices and their locations through Google Maps.

Information about the total amount deposited for an organization during the entire financial year.

Checking the status of the request on the eMigrate portal.

How to register on UMANG App?

Visit the website www.umang.gov.in.

Click on Login/Register on the top right

Enter mobile number and verify it with OTP

Download UMANG app from Google Play or App Store for mobile app.

Click on Login/Sign-up.

Allow location sharing.

Enter mobile number and accept T&C.
