PAN Card Update: PAN card is a very important document, and many works cannot be done without it. PAN card is used for tax filing, banking, KYC and other types of financial work. It contains a 10-digit alphanumeric identification number. In such a situation, all the information in the PAN card must remain updated.
Why is it necessary to update the PAN card?
Updating the address of the PAN card is very important. Its address is in many important places. Such as government notices, bank communication, tax refunds and KYC verification, etc. If you have changed your house or the address has been changed due to any other reason, then update the information related to PAN immediately, so that there is no problem in future.
Let us tell you that the address of the PAN card can be changed online. For this, you will have to take the help of the official website, NSDL. This can be done in three ways. Such a filling out the form, submitting documents and verification, etc.
1. Filling the form
For this, first you have to go to the website www.tin-nsdl.com.
After this, click on ‘Apply Now’ in the ‘Changes or Correction in existing PAN Data’ section.
Now choose the option of PAN change or reprinting, and enter the information.
After submitting the form, you will get a token number. Note it down.
2. Document submission
In this, you will get three options-
This work has to be done through Aadhaar OTP and eSign.
Scan the image and make it available.
Post the physical document.
The physical document has to be sent to this address-

3. Updating the information
Enter the last four digits of Aadhaar. Now select the information you want to change and fill in the correct information.
Enter the new address, mobile number and email.
Upload the scanned address proof and copy of PAN card.
Verification and payment
Now, give the declaration and verify the form.
Upload the photo and signature as per the format.
Do the OTP verification through the Aadhaar number.
Now, make the online payment and download the transaction receipt.
Now download the acknowledgement slip.

What will be the required documents?
Copy of PAN card, new address proof (electricity bill, bank statement), birth proof (10th mark sheet/birth certificate,e) etc., documents will be required.
