From the EPFO website

First of all, you have to visit the official website of EPFO.
Here, you have to go to the ‘Employee’ section and select the ‘Member Passbook’ option.
After this, log in using your UAN (Universal Account Number) and password.
After logging in, check the transactions made in your passbook. Here you will get information about the interest deposited for the financial year 2024-25.
From the UMANG app
The UMANG (Unified Mobile Application for New-age Governance) app is a great platform of the government that brings together many government services:
First of all, download the UMANG app from the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store.
After opening the app, go to the ‘EPFO’ section.
Here you will see the option of ‘Employee Centric Services’, click on it.
Now, open ‘View Passbook’ with the help of your UAN number and OTP (One Time Password).
You will see all your transactions on the screen. Through this, you can easily know whether the interest amount has come to your account or not.
Through SMS
If you do not have internet access or you want information quickly, then the SMS method is the easiest:
For this, you have to send an SMS from your registered mobile number to 7738299899.
If you want to know the balance in English, then you have to write “EPFOHO UAN ENG” and send it.
If you want to know the balance in another language, then you have to change the last three letters.
For example, if you want to know the PF balance in Hindi, then you have to write “EPFOHO UAN HIN” and send it.
As soon as your SMS is received by EPFO, you will immediately get information about your PF balance and interest.
Via missed call
This is the easiest method for those who don’t have a smartphone or don’t have internet access:
Give a missed call to 011-22901406 from your EPFO-registered mobile number.
You will receive an SMS from the EPFO shortly with your PF balance and interest details.
Important things to keep in mind before checking the balance
Make sure your UAN number is active.
Your mobile number must be registered with the EPFO.
Your bank account details must be correct and linked to your PF account.
Even if you remember your previous balance, you can check the new balance to see if the interest amount has been credited.
