According to IMD, a warning of heavy rain has been issued for three districts in Kerala: Idukki, Malappuram, and Wayanad, effective as of Friday. The department has also issued an orange alert for seven other districts of the state. Due to continuous rainfall, the water levels of the rivers are increasing. In some parts, flood-like conditions prevail.

According to the Meteorological Department, an alert of heavy rain with thunder has been issued in Alirajpur, Tikamgarh, Neemuch and Sehore in Madhya Pradesh on Thursday. Heavy rain is being reported in Dhar, Harda, and Barwani districts. According to the IMD, if an official from the Bhopal office is to be believed, hefty rain is expected in Alirajpur, Jhabua, Balaghat, Mandla, and Dhar over the next 24 hours.
