Sundernagar is a sensitive city of North India.

In North India, Sundernagar already falls in Zone 5 in terms of earthquakes, which is considered very sensitive. In this zone, there is a risk of loss of life and property if an earthquake of more than 5 magnitude occurs. The district administration has also confirmed this.
