AAP Leader Shot Dead in Jalandhar, Attackers Fire Five Bullets

AAP: Aam Aadmi Party leader Lucky Oberoi has been shot and killed in Jalandhar, Punjab. This shocking event took place outside the Gurdwara Sahib in Model Town. Unidentified attackers reportedly fired five shots at Lucky Oberoi.

He was rushed to a private hospital in critical condition, where he later passed away. This incident has instilled a sense of fear and panic throughout Jalandhar city. The police arrived at the scene right after they were informed about the shooting, secured the area, and started an investigation.

His wife ran for municipal elections on an AAP ticket

The police are looking into every detail of the case and are working to identify the shooters. Reports indicate that Lucky Oberoi’s wife ran for municipal elections representing the Aam Aadmi Party but unfortunately lost. Lucky Oberoi was reportedly close to Rajwinder Kaur Thiada, who oversees the Cantt area. The police are currently collecting evidence from the scene, and the investigation is still in progress.

Police is investigating

Police and senior officials arrived at the scene upon receiving information about the incident. The entire area has been cordoned off and an investigation has been launched. Footage from CCTV cameras in and around Rudwara is being examined to identify the attackers and why Lucky was targeted. 

Following this murder, the police are expanding their investigation to several angles. From old rivalries to the possibility of a criminal gang carrying out or claiming responsibility for the crime, every possible motive is being thoroughly investigated.
