Haryana Toll Tax: Increase in toll tax will be implemented in Haryana from April 1, 2025. After this, people traveling on highways and expressways will have to pay additional toll tax ranging from ₹ 5 to ₹ 25. There are about 24 tolls across the state, which will be affected by these increased prices.
Giving information about this, toll officials said that the National Highway Authority of India increases the toll tax every year. So that there is no confusion among any driver regarding the information about the new rates, all the lists have been put up at the toll booths.
Rates increased at Gadpuri toll plaza
Gadpuri toll plaza, which falls between Faridabad-Palwal, has increased the toll rate by Rs 5 to 20 and ₹ 10 in the monthly pass. Currently, the one-way fare is ₹120, but from April 1, after an increase of ₹5, toll tax of ₹125 will be charged. Currently, the toll tax is ₹180 for both sides, but from next month, ₹185 will have to be paid for this.
Additional fee will have to be paid
Similarly, commercial vehicles will have to pay ₹195 instead of ₹190 for one way, ₹290 instead of ₹280 for both sides. Heavy vehicles will have to pay ₹400 instead of ₹385 for one way and ₹600 instead of ₹580 for both sides. The monthly pass of local people coming within 20 km radius of the toll plaza has also been increased by ₹10. From April 1, such people will have to pay ₹350 instead of ₹340.
Lakhs of drivers will be affected
₹5 has been increased at Kherki Daula toll plaza in Gurugram. 60000 to 70000 vehicles pass through here daily. Here, ₹50 will be charged as toll tax for private car, jeep and van, ₹125 for light motor vehicle and mini bus and ₹255 for bus and truck.
Apart from this, monthly pass of ₹950 will be made for private car, jeep and van. Toll rates have increased by five percent at the toll made at Sirohi Bahali Nangal Chaudhary on Highway number- 148B in Mahendragarh and Jat Guwana in Narnaul on Highway number- 152D.
₹5 to ₹25 has been increased at Khatkar toll plaza in Jind on Delhi-Patiala National Highway. Similarly, the increase will be implemented at other toll plazas from April 1.
