Weather Forecast: Today is the festival of colours, Holi, across the country, whose celebrations can be disrupted by rain. Rain can be seen with thunderstorms from mountains to plains in North India. Heavy rain and thunderstorms are possible in many places in Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Rain can also be seen in the northeastern states, where the weather is deteriorating.

In the past day, there has been a period of movement of clouds in many parts of western UPo, which has also caused the temperature to drop. People had to face heat due to the increase in temperature in the afternoon. Hot heat waves in South India have made life miserable for the people. The IMD has warned about heavy rains in many areas, and people have been instructed to be cautious.

How will the weather be in many areas of Uttar Pradesh?

According to the Meteorological Department, on March 14, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Saharanpur, Ghaziabad and Muzaffarnagar of the western division of UP may witness rain with thunderstorms. Lightning rain is expected in Shamli, Meerut, Aligarh, Mathura, Agra, Firozabad, and Hathras.

Light rain with thunderstorms may continue in Badaun, Bareilly, Rampur and Amroha. On March 15 and 16, drizzle may be seen in many districts of eastern UP along with western UP. The weather is likely to be expected once again from March 17.

Weather will deteriorate in these parts, too.o

According to the IMD, rain is expected in Manali, Narkanda, Kufri, Solang Valley, Sissu and surrounding areas. A warning about rain has been issued in Himachal Pradesh’s capital, Shimla. Snowfall and rain are expected in Kinnaur and higher parts of Kangra, Chamba and Kullu districts till Sunday. Light to moderate rain is likely in Sirmaur, Shimla, Mandi, Solan, Hamirpur, Bilaspur, Una and Kangra.

According to the IMD, there may be rain with thunderstorms in Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand till March 15. Rain is expected in Punjab, Haryana, and Rajasthan till March 15.

Heavy rains may be seen in eastern statstatesncluding Bihar and West BengBengal andnortin heastern states like,e Arunachal Pradesh. Heavy snowfall may continue in Arunachal Pradesh as well. In southern India, states like Tamil Nadu and Kerala have been issued alerts for possible heavy rains.
