A senior North Western Railway official stated that the country’s first Vande Bharat Sleeper Coach Maintenance Service will be ready in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, by mid-2026.

The second phase, which will add 178 meters of track, a workshop, and a simulator facility, is expected to be completed by June 2027.
