Eligibility Criteria for Farmers
Farmers have to fulfill some eligibility criteria to avail the benefits of Ayushman Bharat Yojana.
- Not Income Tax Payer: Farmers who pay income tax do not get the benefit of this scheme.
- Government Service or Pension: Farmers employed in government service or receiving government pension also do not get the benefit of this scheme.
- Large scale farming: Farmers doing large scale farming,having permanent housing property also do not get the benefit of Ayushman Bharat Yojana.
- More than 5 acres of land: Farmers who have more than five acres of land will also not get the benefit of Ayushman Bharat Yojana.
- Poor and needy: This scheme is for poor and needy farmers.

You can check your eligibility by visiting the official website of Kisan Yojana pmjay.gov.in. Apart from this,you can also check your eligibility by visiting your nearest Common Service Center.
