Advance tax and Form 24G,Fill by March 15

The last date for filing the fourth and final installment of advance tax for assessment year 2025-26 is March 15.

Taxpayers falling under the presumptive taxation scheme (section 44AD/44ADA) must pay advance tax for the entire year by March 15.

Government offices,that have deducted TDS/TCS without challan in February,must submit Form 24G by this date.

TDS certificate,Issue by March 17

The last date for issuing certificate of TDS deducted in January 2025 under sections 194-IA,194-IB and 194S is March 17.

Submit by March 30

Tax deducted under sections 194-IA,194-IB,194M,and 194S for February 2025 is to be reported through challan-cum-statement. The last date for this is March 30.

Form 3CEAD,Form 67,and updated ITR,Fill in by March 31

MNCs have to file country-by-country reports for the financial year 2023-24. This report can be submitted by the parent entity in India or the alternate reporting entity. If the parent entity is exempted under section 286(2) or is located in a country that does not have a tax information sharing agreement with India,other related entities of the company can file this report.

If a taxpayer has claimed foreign tax credit for 2022-23,they have to file this form by March 31. This is mandatory for those who have filed their income tax returns under section 139(1) or 139(4) on time. The updated ITR can also be submitted till March 31.
