According to official information,mandatory biometric update is done for free. As per UIDAI rules,it is necessary to get the biometric update of children’s Aadhaar card done twice – first time at the age of 5 years and second time at the age of 15 years. This is called mandatory biometric update.

To update demographic updates like name,date of birth,mobile number etc.,you will have to pay a fee of ₹ 50 including GST.

If there is no mandatory biometric update,in this case,if you get the biometric updated,you will have to pay a fee of ₹ 50 including GST.

For taking a colour printout on A4 sheet for Aadhaar search using e-KYC/any other device you will have to pay a fee of ₹ 30 including GST.
