Two Powerful Apps That Will Change Your Life
UIDAI has clarified that pensioners will now only need to generate their Digital Life Certificates using two dedicated mobile apps:
AadhaarFaceRD App:- This app is required for face authentication.
JeevanPramaan App:- This app actually generates and submits the Life Certificate.
Both apps can be easily downloaded on Android mobile phones. The process is so simple that even the elderly can complete it themselves or with minimal assistance from a family member.
Face Verification via the AadhaarFaceRD App
The first and most important step is face authentication. To complete this process,first download the AadhaarFaceRD app. This app verifies your identity by matching your face photo with your current face in the Aadhaar database. This process is completely secure and does not require any OTP or fingerprint. Identity is confirmed solely by face scanning.
Generate DLC from the JeevanPramaan App
After face verification is completed,pensioners must open the second app,JeevanPramaan. The app requires entering some basic information,such as Aadhaar number,pension type,bank details,and mobile number. An OTP is sent to the mobile number you entered. After entering it,the app will ask for permission to scan your face again. Once the face scan is complete,the app instantly generates a Digital Life Certificate for you.
By clicking the Submit button,your Life Certificate is submitted to the government system. A copy is sent to your mobile or email. The entire process is 100% digital,paperless,and hassle-free. This means no queues,no forms,and no need to visit a bank or office.
