Weather Forecast: The monsoon is set to withdraw from several states across the country, including Delhi. According to the IMD forecast, warnings for rainfall ranging from light to heavy have been issued for 19 states across the country for September 24. Strong winds blowing at speeds of approximately 60 to 80 kmph are likely during this period. Additionally, thunderstorms accompanied by lightning are expected in several areas.
A deep depression has formed over the west-central and adjoining northwest Bay of Bengal. Rainfall is likely to increase in Eastern Uttar Pradesh starting September 25, with a possibility of heavy rain in isolated areas. Heavy rainfall is expected in Eastern Uttar Pradesh on September 26, while Western Uttar Pradesh may also experience heavy rain. On September 27, heavy rainfall is likely in both the eastern and western regions.

The Meteorological Department has issued a heavy rainfall alert for Bihar for September 24 and 25. This spell of rain is expected to continue in the state until September 29. Along with the rain, thunderstorms accompanied by lightning are also likely. However, the rainfall activity may subside from September 29 onwards.

Regarding North India, rainfall warnings have been issued for Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh for September 23–26 and for Himachal Pradesh for September 24–29. Additionally, isolated rainfall is expected in Uttarakhand on September 23–25 and September 29. Alerts for rain have also been issued for Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, and Punjab for the period of September 25–29.
