UP Teachers News: The Uttar Pradesh government has brought excellent news for the state’s teachers by launching the ‘Chief Minister’s Cashless Medical Scheme for Teachers’ (Mukhyamantri Shikshak Cashless Chikitsa Yojana). Applications submitted by teachers under this scheme have been approved.

It is mandatory for teachers to complete their e-KYC. If you have applied for this scheme and your application has been approved, you must complete the e-KYC process as soon as possible; failing to do so may hinder your ability to avail the benefits of the scheme. Under this initiative, teachers can access cashless medical treatment at listed hospitals, which means they do not have to pay for medical expenses themselves.

Where to complete the e-KYC?
To complete the e-KYC for the Chief Minister’s Cashless Medical Scheme for Teachers, educators must visit the National Health Authority’s beneficiary portal. The Education Department has set up separate portals for submitting applications and checking their status.

How to check application status on the portals
Teachers can check the details and status of their applications by visiting the portal designated for their respective department:
Teachers under the Basic Education Department can check their status on the CMTCTS portal.
Teachers under the Secondary Education Department can use the MCMTCTS portal.
Teachers under the Higher Education Department can access information via the HCMTCTS portal.

Points to keep in mind before e-KYC
Teachers should be aware of a few important points when completing the e-KYC process. Since verification is conducted via an OTP (One-Time Password), your mobile number must be linked to your Aadhaar card. Furthermore, the information provided in your application must exactly match the details recorded on your Aadhaar card.

Before completing the e-KYC process, carefully verify your name and other details. The ‘CM Shikshak Cashless Chikitsa Card’ (CM Teachers’ Cashless Medical Card) is essential for availing cashless medical treatment at hospitals empanelled under the scheme.

What should teachers do now?
Teachers whose applications have received final approval should now visit the NHA (National Health Authority) Beneficiary Portal to complete their e-KYC. To verify your application status, visit your department’s portal.
