Weather Alert: Temperature crosses 48 degrees in Rajasthan; IMD warns Heavy rain in these states

Weather Update: People are in bad condition due to the scorching sun and extreme heat. The maximum temperature in Rajasthan has crossed 48 degrees Celsius.  According to the Meteorological Department, there is no hope of relief from the heat at present.

According to IMD, similar weather will be seen in many states of the country, including Delhi, Punjab, Rajasthan, and UP. An increase in temperature has been seen in most areas of India. In many cities and states, the temperature has crossed 47 degrees Celsius, due to which everyone seems to be quite worried.

In many parts of North India, the heat wave has made life miserable for people. The monsoon is now seen advancing rapidly in the states of South India.

On the other hand, due to light rain in Kerala and Tamil Nadu, there has been a slight drop in the temperature, which gave relief to the people from the heat. Meanwhile, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted heavy rains in many states of the country.

According to the Meteorological Department, western Uttar Pradesh will see dry weather. Rain with thunder may be seen at different places in Uttar Pradesh. Strong surface winds at a speed of 25 to 35 kilometres per hour are expected across Uttar Pradesh.

A heat wave is expected in one or two places in western Uttar Pradesh. Storms, lightning, and strong winds may occur at some places in eastern Uttar Pradesh. No major change will be seen in the maximum temperature during the next the next 48 hours.

Temperatures can be recorded at more than 45 degrees in many areas of Rajasthan: 47.5 degrees in Jaisalmer, 47.4 degrees in Jodhpur, and 47.3 degrees in Jalore.

According to IMD, a warning of pre-monsoon rain has been issued in Kerala. Not only this, but a but a red alert has been issued at two places in the state on Friday. Some parts of the state may see rain accompanied by thunder and lightning. A red alert for rain has also been issued for Thrissur districts. Apart from this, warnings of heavy rain have been issued in Puducherry, Andhra Pradesh, and Tamil Nadu.
