Rajasthan Weather Update – IMD Predicts Heavy Rain Alert in 35 Districts For Next 2 Days

Rajasthan Weather Update: Monsoon has once again become active in Rajasthan. According to the Meteorological Department, an alert has been issued for moderate to heavy rain in the state for the next several days. Due to the active monsoon in Rajasthan, heavy rainfall is being observed in many districts. The Meteorological Department has issued four-day yellow and orange alerts for many districts of Rajasthan. In Rajasthan, heavy rains have occurred in some areas of the Kota, Udaipur, and Jaipur divisions over the last 24 hours.

Heavy rains are being reported in some areas of the southern and southeastern parts. Rains can also be seen in some parts of Jodhpur, the Bikaner division of western Rajasthan, from August 23 to 29.

According to the Meteorological Department, light to moderate rain is expected in the following districts: Alwar, Baran, Dausa, Dholpur, Jaipur, Jhunjhunu, Karauli, Sawai Madhopur, Sikar, Bikaner, Churu, Hanumangarh, Jaisalmer, and Nagaur. Apart from this, an alert has been issued regarding heavy rain in Ajmer, Bundi, Jhalawar, Kota, Tonk, Barmer and Jodhpur. The Meteorological Department has issued a warning due to heavy rainfall in Banswara, Bhilwara, Chittorgarh, Dungarpur, Pratapgarh, Rajsamand, Sirohi, Jalore, and Udaipur.

Weather condition on 24 August

According to the Meteorological Department, light to moderate rain is expected to occur in many districts, including Ajmer, Alwar, Banswara, Baran, Bharatpur, Bhilwara, Bundi, Chittorgarh, and Dausa, on August 24. There is a possibility of heavy rain in Rajsamand, Udaipur, Barmer and Pali districts. An alert has been issued for hefty rain in Jalore and Sirohi.

Weather condition on 25 August

On August 25, light to moderate rain is expected to occur in many districts, including Alwar, Banswara, Baran, Bharatpur, Bhilwara, Bandi, Chittorgarh, Dausa, Dholpur, Dungarpur, Jhalawar, Barmer, Hanumangarh, Jaisalmer, Jalore, and Pali. Additionally, an alert has been issued for heavy rainfall in the districts of Ajmer, Jaipur, Jhunjhunu, Sikar, Bikaner, Churu, Jodhpur, and Nagaur.
