Toyota Fortuner New Edition: Japan’s leading car manufacturer Toyota has launched the Leader Edition of its most popular Fortuner. The latest launched Fortuner Leader Edition is based on the diesel 4×2 variant with some exterior changes. Furthermore, at the time of the launch Toyota also said that since its launch in the Indian market in 2009, the Fortuner has sold over 2.5 lakh units of the SUV. Toyota did not announce the prices of the Fortuner Leader Edition and said that it will be decided as per the dealership. According to many media reports, the price of Leader Edition will be slightly higher than the standard Fortuner.

In the Fortuner Leader Edition, customers will get dual-tone seat covers, a tire pressure monitor, auto-folding ORVMs and a wireless charger. Apart from this, 3 double tone color options along with new black alloy wheels will also be available in the Leader Edition. Let us tell you that in Fortuner Leader Edition, customers will also get new front and rear bumper ‘spoiler’. As a powertrain, the Fortuner Dealer Edition has a 2.8-litre diesel engine which is capable of generating maximum power of 204bhp and peak torque of 500Nm.

At the same time, if we talk about the interior of the standard Toyota Fortuner, its base variant has an 8-inch display while the Legender variant has a 9-inch display which supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity. The starting ex-showroom price of Toyota Fortuner ranges from Rs 33.43 lakh to Rs 51.44 lakh for the top model.
