How was the sale of 500 to 800 cc

Honda, Kawasaki, Royal Enfield, Suzuki and Triumph bikes are offered in the 500 to 800 cc super bike segment. According to reports, during April 2024, the sale of super bikes in this segment has been slightly better than last year. A total of 3278 units of 500 to 800 cc bikes have been sold. Whereas earlier during April 2023, the total sales in the same segment was 3068 units. This segment includes super bikes like Honda CBR 650F, Ninja 650, Super Meteor 650, 650 Twin and Street Triple.

800 to 1000 cc bikes were also in demand

The 800 to 1000 cc bike segment includes bikes like Kawasaki Ninja H2 SX, Triumph’s Bonneville T100 and Speed. According to the report released by the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers, a total of 153 units were sold in this segment last month. Whereas 99 bikes were sold in the same period last year.

Sales of super bikes larger than 1000 cc decreased

Bikes with engine capacity of liter class and above are also sold in India. Hero MotoCorp sells Harley Davidson bikes in India. In which super bikes like 1200 X48, Nightster, Pan America, Suzuki Hayabusa and Triumph’s Bonneville Bobber are sold. According to the SIAM report, a total of 73 bikes of this segment were sold in the Indian market during April 2024. Whereas in April 2023 last year, the total sales of this segment was 111 units.
