Jeep Meridian Facelift: Jeep India has confirmed that the facelifted version of the Meridian SUV will be launched this year. This SUV is basically a 3-row version of the Compass. In India, this car competes with Skoda Kodiaq, Toyota Fortuner and MG Gloster.

Jeep Meridian facelift design

No details have been revealed about the Jeep Meridian facelift yet, but it is expected to get minor styling updates like new front and rear bumpers and minor reprofiling of the headlamps. New seat upholstery can be seen in the cabin, while the main layout remains unchanged.

Features of Jeep Meridian Facelift

The Meridian facelift will also get some additional features that were recently introduced with the Compass Night Eagle Edition, including front and rear dashcams and an air purifier. It will retain all the features like panoramic sunroof, 10.2-inch touchscreen infotainment, dual-zone climate control, reclining second and third row seats, wireless charger and ambient lighting.

Jeep Meridian Facelift Powertrain

Jeep offers the Meridian in India with a sole 2.0-litre diesel engine that produces 170hp and 350Nm outputs. This engine is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission or a 9-speed torque converter automatic. A petrol engine is also being tested for the India-spec Meridian, which will be first introduced in the Compass.

The Brazil-spec Meridian (Commander) gets a 1.3-litre turbo-petrol engine that produces 185hp of power, this is the same engine we expect to be offered for the Meridian in 2025. The Wrangler’s 2.0-litre turbo-petrol (272hp) engine will be available in the Commander facelift, but is not expected to be available for the Meridian.

Jeep Meridian facelift price

The ex-showroom price of the pre-facelift Jeep Meridian currently ranges between Rs 33.60 lakh-39.66 lakh and offers up to Rs 2.80 lakh are available this month. The price of the facelift model is likely to increase slightly, but before the launch of the Meridian facelift, Jeep will launch the Wrangler facelift in India on April 22.
