Twitter News: Now, very big news is coming out regarding Twitter, i.e. Pakistan’s Interior Ministry on Wednesday said it had directed the temporary shutdown of social media platform X in February due to national security concerns, confirming previously anticipated concerns.

The government made no official announcement after users reported problems using X since mid-February, around the time of the election. Despite the lack of formal government announcements, users in Pakistan have faced difficulties accessing X, formerly known as Twitter, since mid-February.

Pakistan on Wednesday confirmed the long-suspected closure of social media platform X, saying it had ordered a temporary ban in February over national security concerns.

The Interior Ministry acknowledged the shutdown in a written court filing on Wednesday, stating that “it is very relevant to mention here that Twitter/X failed to comply with the lawful instructions of the Government of Pakistan and address the concerns regarding the misuse of Is.” It became necessary to ban the platform.”
