8TH PAY COMMISSION:Lok Sabha elections are currently going on across the country. During elections, all the political parties are making various promises to woo the government class as well. On the other hand, the demand for the formation of the 8th Pay Commission for central employees is also going on very fast.

If reports are to be believed, After the Lok Sabha elections, the Eighth Pay Commission can be formed, which is going to benefit crores of people.Although no official statement has yet been given by the government on the formation of the 8th Pay Commission, it is being claimed in media reports that it will be soon.

Employees have been demanding for a long time

Central employees seem to have been demanding the formation of the 8th Pay Commission for a long time, which is believed to be possible after the elections. The All India Railwaymen’s Federation, the union of railway employees, has demanded the formation of the 8th Pay Commission.

Federation General Secretary Shiv Gopal Mishra said that we have written a letter to the Cabinet Secretary demanding the formation of the 8th Pay Commission for increasing the salary of railway employees. He said through the letter that the employees want that, after the formation of the new government, a committee be formed to review the 8th Pay Commission immediately.

There is a possibility that the new government may take a major decision on this soon after taking the oath. However, a few days ago, the government said that no proposal would be brought forward on the question raised about the formation of the 8th Pay Commission.

Recently, the DA of central employees and pensioners was increased by 4 percent by the Modi government. After this, DA was directly increased from 46 percent to 50 percent. With this, it is considered certain that there will be a decent increase in the basic salary of the employees.

It is believed that about one crore employees and pensioners will benefit from increased DA. Its rates were considered effective as of January 1, 2024. Now the rates of DA, which will be increased, will be implemented on July 1, 2024.
