Starting with a fully charged battery, our journey commenced with a DTE (Distance to Empty) reading of 278km in default mode.

As we progressed, the trip computer provided invaluable insights into the XUV400’s performance. At 75 per cent battery capacity, we had covered 67.2km, with the DTE indicating a range of 209km. This trend continued, with the range progressively adjusting to our driving conditions and battery consumption.

At the halfway mark, with 50 per cent battery remaining, our journey spanned 129.3km, while the DTE projected a range of 138km. As we approached the lower battery levels, the XUV400 maintained its efficiency, covering a total distance of 228.2km at the 10 per cent mark, with a DTE of 24km.

Ultimately, our journey culminated after traveling an additional 27.8km, bringing the total distance covered to 256km before the battery was depleted. These real-world findings provide valuable insights for prospective XUV400 owners, showcasing its practical range under varied driving conditions.
