The Galaxy S24 starts at ₹79,999 for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. You’ll need to shell out ₹89,999 for the 512GB storage option. Disappointingly, Samsung sticks with 8GB RAM this time around, so power users might feel limited despite the high price tag. Colour options include Amber Yellow (our review unit), Cobalt Violet, and Onyx Black. Samsung’s online store offers exclusive Sapphire Blue and Jade Green options.
What’s in the Box?
The box is fairly basic. You get the phone itself, a USB Type-C cable, some paperwork, and the SIM ejector tool. No fancy extras here.
Design: Compact Yet Premium
If you’re rocking a Galaxy S23, your friends might not even notice you upgraded. The design changes are subtle – it’s the same aluminium and glass sandwich with a Gorilla Glass Victus 2 back for enhanced scratch resistance. Build quality feels excellent, and the 167 grams weight makes it a joy to hold. The flat sides with a slight curvature ensure a comfortable grip, and the overall compact form factor makes one-handed use a breeze.
The triple camera system on the back gets its own individual rings, with a separate flash module alongside. The front features a hole-punch cutout for the 12-megapixel selfie camera housed within a display with slim bezels all around. This year’s display is slightly larger, but Samsung cleverly kept the overall phone dimensions similar to the S23. The phone is also IP68 rated for dust and water resistance, so minor spills and splashes won’t be a worry.
Specs and Software: A Bold Move with Exynos
This year, Samsung throws a surprise with its Exynos 2400 SoC, ditching the usual Qualcomm silicon and pairing it with their Xclipse 940 GPU.
