The India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicts no significant change in the state’s weather in the coming days. A glimmer of hope comes in the form of a possibility of rain and thunderstorms in the eastern parts of UP on March 19th and 20th.
Delhi: Partly Cloudy with Mild Temperatures

Another disturbance is expected from the night of March 20th, bringing the possibility of light rain or snowfall in various areas including Jammu-Kashmir-Ladakh.
Rain Expected in Hill States and South India
The good news for residents of the hilly regions is the possibility of light rain in Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Gilgit-Baltistan-Muzaffarabad in the coming week. Similarly, Kerala might experience some light rain in the coming days.
Scattered Rains Across Other States
The IMD has issued rain alerts for Jharkhand, Odisha, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, West Bengal, and East Madhya Pradesh. Light rain with thunder and lightning is expected for the next three days in these states. Additionally, there’s a chance of light hailstorms in Vidarbha (March 17-20) and East Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh (March 17-19).
The northeastern states of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura are also likely to experience light rain with thunder and lightning between March 17th and 22nd.
