Train Cancelled: Another major shock is waiting for railway passengers. With the beginning of July, heavy rains have caused problems for people in many states across the country. In Mumbai in particular, the torrential rains have not only caused inconvenience to residents but have also severely disrupted rail services. Trains to and from Rajasthan and Mumbai have been cancelled, while some train services have been rescheduled. According to a railway official, waterlogging in the Mumbai Central Division of Western Railway has forced the rescheduling of several train services to and from Rajasthan.

Indian Railways

The railway has cancelled the following trains on July 7 and 8

– July 7 – Train No. 22916 Hisar-Bandra Terminus Express
– July 7 – Train No. 22934 Jaipur – Bandra Terminus Express
– July 8 – Train No. Chandigarh-Bandra Terminus Express

These trains will be terminated midway.

Additionally, the following train services are affected

– Train No. 04725 Hisar-Khadki Express
– Train number 12990 Ajmer-Dadar Express will only reach Navsari.
– Train No. 09705 Jaipur – Bandra Terminus Special Train

Passengers are advised to verify the current train status before their journey to prevent inconvenience and delays at the station. Due to heavy rainfall, there may be temporary alterations in train services and timetables. Hence, it is recommended to confirm the train status before traveling during this period.

Due to flooding on the railway tracks in the Mumbai Central Division after heavy rainfall, Western Railway is taking significant actions to ensure the safety of passengers. In a preventive move, numerous trains have been canceled, rescheduled, or have started from a different origin point. An advisory by Western Railway indicates that all suburban local services between Churchgate and Dahanu Road are experiencing delays of 10 to 15 minutes. It is advisable to adjust your travel plans accordingly.

The following trains will not be running

– Western Railway has declared the cancellation of multiple trains.
– The 12009 Mumbai Central – Ahmedabad Shatabdi Express will not operate today.
– Several MEMU trains within the state will also not run today due to intense rainfall and water accumulation.
