Train Cancelled: Passengers traveling on the Howrah-Dhanbad rail route will experience growing challenges beginning Monday. Eastern Railway has declared the cancellation of 18 trains and the rerouting of 10 trains on various days.
The cancelled trains comprise several long-distance services and key trains serving Jharkhand and Bihar. Rail passengers commuting between Dhanbad and Asansol will encounter substantial disruption.
Because of the route modification, trains such as Jammu Tawi, Sealdah-Ajmer, Duronto and Shaktipunj Express will bypass Dhanbad.
Train operations at Mugma station on the Dhanbad-Howrah railway line will experience interruptions due to pre-interlocking work from September 21st to 23rd and interlocking work from September 24th to 27th. This will create hardship for thousands of commuters.

Bardhaman-Hatia MEMU will run till Asansol, will not come to Dhanbad
From September 24th to 27th, the Bardhaman-Hatia MEMU will run from Bardhaman to Asansol. On the return journey, the Hatia-Bardhaman MEMU will also run from Asansol to Bardhaman. Due to cancellations on both sides between Asansol and Hatia, it will not reach Dhanbad.

The 13331 Dhanbad-Patna Intercity will run from Dhanbad via Gomoh, Koderma and Gaya from September 24th to 27th.
The 13332 Patna-Dhanbad Intercity will run from September 24th to 27th via Gaya, Koderma and Gomoh to Dhanbad.
