This scheme, introduced in the Haryana Budget 2024, aims to directly benefit millions of women. In the lead-up to the Haryana elections, the BJP promised to launch a special scheme for women, and they are now delivering on that promise. The ‘Lado Laxmi Yojana’ will provide Rs 2100 each month to women, although the payments won’t start immediately. There are some eligibility criteria to keep in mind. So, who can apply, and when will the funds be available?

 

This initiative is specifically designed to support economically disadvantaged women in Haryana. To qualify for the monthly assistance of Rs 2100, applicants must be permanent residents of Haryana and at least 18 years old.

 

What documents do you need?

 

To take advantage of the ‘Lado Laxmi Yojana’, you’ll need a BPL card. Only women from families with an annual income below Rs 1,80,000 can qualify for this program. You can’t register without the BPL card. Additionally, having a Parivar Pehchan Patra (PPP) is crucial to benefit from the scheme.

 

If you don’t have a Parivar Pehchan Patra (PPP) yet, you can get one by visiting the nearest Common Service Center (CSC), Saral Kendra, or a PPP operator. Make sure to bring your Aadhar card and Haryana residence certificate. The funds from the scheme will be deposited into your bank account every month through DBT. Just remember, you need to link your bank account with your Aadhaar to receive the money.
