Haryana Government News: Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini presented his first budget as Finance Minister. For the first time in history, he has presented a budget of Rs 2 lakh 5 thousand 17 crores for the state. Last year, former Chief Minister Manohar Lal had presented a budget of Rs 1.89 lakh crores. This time the budget has increased by 13.7% i.e. 16 thousand crores.
Gift of free bus travel to Divyangjan
The Haryana government has not made any major populist announcement in its budget, but has made many big announcements for farmers, youth and sportspersons, which will directly benefit these sections. Farmers have been given the gift of increase in subsidy amount for direct sowing of paddy.
Budget of Rs 50 crore
CM Naib Saini said that from April 1, financial assistance will be given for all 21 types of disabilities recognized under the ‘Divyangjan Adhikar Act, 2016’. “Divyangjan Kosh” will be established in Haryana, for which a budget of Rs 50 crore will be kept. At the same time, from now on, the disabled of the state will be able to travel by bus for free. People of this category will get the benefit of free bus service in the general buses of Haryana Roadways.
