Haryana DR BR Ambedkar Housing Renovation Scheme: The Haryana government has launched several schemes for the poor and needy families of the state, one of the major schemes is the Dr. BR Ambedkar Housing Renovation Scheme. The objective of this scheme is to provide financial assistance to BPL families to repair their old houses.
Extension of the scheme and assistance amount
This scheme was earlier started only for BPL families of Scheduled Caste (SC), but now it has been extended to all BPL families. Under this, eligible beneficiaries will be given financial assistance of up to Rs 80,000, which was earlier Rs 50,000. This decision will benefit more and more families and their dream of improving their house will come true.
Eligibility Criteria
The house of the family applying under this scheme should be at least 10 years old and should be in need of repair. Apart from this, the applicant must be a permanent resident of the state of Haryana and must be a member of Scheduled Caste (SC), Backward Class (BC) or BPL family. It will be necessary to submit the relevant certificate for all these categories.
