Haryana News: The Education Department has instructed the District Education Officers to take back the tablets given to the students before the end of the examinations. The annual examinations of class 10th and 12th in Haryana are nearing completion.

The Education Department has written a letter to all the District Education Officers saying that the tablets given to the students in the academic session 2024-25 should be taken back 5 days before the end of the examination. Also, the Directorate of Education has said that the annual examination result of the students who do not return the tablet will be withheld.

The Directorate of School Education will have to deposit the tablet, charger, SIM and other items found with the tablet in the school within the last 5 days of the annual examination of the students of class 12. The students of class 12 have been given time till April 4 to deposit the tablet.
Withinthe stipulated time period
A list of students who do not return the tablet within the stipulated time period will be prepared by the schools, that list will be sent by the Education Department to the Haryana Board of School Education and CBSE Board, so that the examination results of such students can be withheld.
If a student gives the excuse of losing the tablet, then after the student’s parents register an FIR in the nearest police station, the school head will have to give a copy of the undertaking and FIR.
10th in Government High Schools
Students studying in 10th class in Government High Schools will have to return the tablet 5 days before the end of the examination. If a student takes admission in the same school in 11th class, then the tablet will not be taken back from him.
The school head and the concerned class in-charge will inform the students of 10th class to return the tablet through telephone. Also, the school management committee will also contact all the students to return the tablet to the school. After taking back the tablets of Class 10th students, it will be recorded in the stock register.
