The Indian cricket team has currently completed the Test series in England. In the middle of this tour, there is big news for the fans. The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) have said that India and England will play five T20 matches and three ODI matches next year. Both the ODI and T20 series will be in England in July 2026.
The T20 series will start on July 1 in Durham. The other T20 matches will be on July 4, July 7, July 9, and July 11. After that, the ODI series will start on July 14, with the next matches on July 16 and July 19.
Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma are also likely to play in the ODI series against England next year. It seems very possible. These two legends will play in England for the first time after retiring from Test cricket. Talking about the T20I series, this will probably be India’s first T20I series after the T20 World Cup in February-March next year.
