Vivobook S16 with Snapdragon X: Where Efficiency and AI Converge

Earlier this year, ASUS launched its Vivobook S14 and S16 featuring Intel’s latest Core Ultra processors. The Vivobook S16 has now been refreshed with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X, a budget but efficient processor. While being positioned as a budget laptop, it boasts a powerful battery and AI capabilities through the 45 TOPS NPU that powers Copilot+ features and ASUS’ AI software. It is paired with 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB PCIe Gen 4 SSD storage for smooth multitasking and fast data access.

The Vivobook S16 has a 16-inch OLED screen with FHD+ (1920 x 1200) resolution, 16:10 aspect ratio, and 95% DCI-P3 color gamut for vivid colors. It also gives up to 300 nits of brightness and is ideal for indoor and outdoor usage under light environments. Despite the large screen, the laptop weighs only 1.74 kg. It also has a 70Wh battery and 65W USB-C fast charging. The other significant specifications include a Backlit Keyboard, Full HD web camera with IR, Dolby Atmos certified speakers, WiFi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, and Windows 11 Home pre-loaded.

The CX15 promises up to 13 hours of battery life, thereby making it a safe choice for students or general office use.

Durability and Connectivity of Chromebook CX15

ASUS has integrated the Titan C security chip in the CX15 to provide greater data security. It’s US MIL-STD 810H military-grade durability standards compliant, meaning it can withstand everyday bumps. The laptop has WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, an HDMI port, a USB-A port, two USB-C ports, and a 3.5mm audio jack. Its 42Wh battery can support 45W USB-C charging.
