On Sunday, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta met with female cricketer Pratika Rawal. She honored Pratika at her residence and announced a reward of INR 1.5 crore from the Delhi government. Pratika praised the CM’s gesture and thanked her. She wrote that this is not just an honor but a huge inspiration for her hard work, her dreams, and her athletic journey.
Delhi CM made huge announcement
Chief Minister Rekha Gupta shared a post on her X account about this meeting. In the post, she wrote, “Today, the Chief Minister welcomed Ms. Pratika Rawal, a talented young player of the Indian women’s cricket team, to the Jan Seva Sadan. Our promising daughter, Pratika, has made Delhi proud. In recognition of her commitment to the sport and her outstanding performance, the Delhi government will award her INR 1.5 crore.”
