Making UPI Payments via KCC and Mudra Loans
Traditionally, UPI payments were made using funds deposited in a bank account. Under this new SBI facility, eligible customers can link their credit limits to UPI to make payments. For instance, if a farmer has an active Kisan Credit Card (KCC) limit, they can use that limit to make direct UPI payments to merchants. Similarly, eligible credit facilities linked to Mudra loans or overdraft accounts can also be used. Please note that this facility does not apply to all types of accounts.
You can now use your eligible sanctioned credit facilities through UPI—bringing unmatched convenience to your KCC, Mudra Loan and Overdraft accounts.
