Royal Enfield Himalayan 750: The Royal Enfield Himalayan has carved a distinct niche for itself in the adventure bike segment, and the company is now preparing to take this nameplate a step further. The new Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 has once again been spotted during testing, appearing more production-ready than ever before. Let’s delve into the details. Reports suggest the Himalayan 750 is nearing production, with a potential global debut at EICMA 2026. The new bike is expected to feature a 750cc twin-cylinder engine alongside a host of advanced features.
CEO Confirms Details
Speculation had previously suggested that this new Himalayan variant might retain the 650cc twin-cylinder engine, but those rumours have now been put to rest. Royal Enfield CEO B. Govindarajan has personally confirmed that the company will unveil its new 750cc motorcycle platform at EICMA 2026. It is now clear that the Himalayan is set to receive a brand-new, larger engine.
Design
In terms of design, it retains a resemblance to the Himalayan 450, keeping the signature circular LED headlamp and upright adventure stance intact. However, a larger fairing, a taller windscreen, and a significantly larger fuel tank give it a more robust and premium presence. An interesting modification is the high-mounted exhaust, which enhances ground clearance while maintaining touring capabilities.

Hardcore Off-Roader
It is worth noting that the Himalayan 750 is being developed as a road-biased adventure tourer. It features cast alloy wheels shod with road-biased CEAT tyres; reports indicate a wheel combination of 19-inch front and 17-inch rear. This setup is commonly found on touring-focused middleweight ADV bikes, striking the right balance between highway stability and light off-roading capabilities.
Additionally, the motorcycle features twin front disc brakes with ByBre callipers, Showa upside-down front forks, and a rear monoshock with a remote preload adjuster. A standard centre stand was also spotted on the prototype, while the low seat height and upright ergonomics indicate that the company remains focused on accessibility.

New 750cc Twin Engine
While Royal Enfield has not yet officially released technical specifications, the company has confirmed that the new Himalayan will be powered by a 750cc parallel-twin engine. This new powertrain is expected to be based on the existing 648cc architecture but will feature increased displacement and modified internals to better suit adventure touring.
Debut at EICMA 2026
Royal Enfield has previously showcased an early prototype of the Himalayan 750 at EICMA, and recent sightings suggest the motorcycle has reached the final stages of development. According to CEO B. Govindarajan, the 750cc platform is widely expected to make its debut at EICMA 2026. The Himalayan 750 will have its global premiere later this year before launching in India. It is expected to be priced under ₹5 lakh in the Indian market.
