Renault Triber Turbo: When it comes to affordable 7-seater MPVs in India, the Renault Triber has long carved out a niche for itself. Its standout qualities are its spaciousness and practical cabin. The company is expected to launch the Renault Triber Turbo in September 2026. While the current Triber features a 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, the new turbo variant will come with a more powerful engine.
The Renault Triber Turbo is anticipated to launch in the Indian market in September, equipped with a potent 100PS turbo-petrol engine. Let’s explore the full details regarding its price, design, features, engine, gearbox, and RGEP platform.
Design
Regarding its design, no major changes are expected in the exterior styling of the new Triber Turbo. Its appearance will likely remain very similar to the current 2025 facelift model. With that facelift, Renault already gave the MPV a sharper, more modern look.
The new turbo-petrol version may feature a black grille with angular slats, a raised bonnet, stylish bumpers, and LED headlamps. LED tail lamps are also expected at the rear.

Cabin
The Renault Triber Turbo’s cabin is expected to remain identical to the current facelift model. In terms of features, it is likely to include a large 8-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system. Additional features could include automatic headlamps, rain-sensing wipers, and automatic climate control.
Safety Features
Regarding safety, the turbo variant will carry forward the Triber’s existing safety package. The current model offers 21 standard safety features, including six airbags, ABS with EBD, Electronic Stability Control, and a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System.
100PS Turbo Engine
The most significant change in the Triber Turbo will be under the bonnet. It is expected to be powered by the 1.0-litre, three-cylinder turbo-petrol engine sourced from the Kiger. Its output is likely to be around 100 PS of power and 160 Nm of torque. The current naturally aspirated Triber delivers approximately 72hp and 96 Nm. Consequently, a turbo engine producing 100 PS and 160 Nm would be a significant upgrade.

Launch and Price
The Renault Triber Turbo is expected to launch in September 2026, ahead of the festive season. The company has not yet announced an official launch date. For context, the ex-showroom price of the current naturally aspirated Triber ranges from ₹5.81 lakh to ₹8.69 lakh.
