
Redmi K100 Series: Smartphone manufacturer Redmi is set to launch its new Redmi K100 series in China very soon. The company has already started teasing the series. Ahead of the launch, a new smartphone from the Redmi K100 series has been spotted on the Geekbench benchmarking platform, revealing key details about its processor, RAM, and software.
The Redmi K100 Pro has been spotted on the Geekbench benchmark platform with the model number Xiaomi M098FE; this listing dates back to June 29. Regarding the benchmark scores, the upcoming Redmi mobile achieved 2,965 points in the single-core test and 10,064 points in the multi-core test on Geekbench.
Redmi K100 Series Launch Date?
The Redmi K100 series is expected to launch in China tomorrow (Friday). However, Xiaomi’s sub-brand has not yet officially revealed the name of the upcoming smartphone. Ahead of the launch, a teaser for a new smartphone has been released on social media, offering the first official glimpse of its design. Additionally, a promotional image of the alleged Redmi K100 Pro Max has leaked, showcasing its colour options and rear camera layout.

The teaser image shows a partial view of the rear panel of the upcoming smartphone, believed to be part of the Redmi K100 series. Notably, the image shows the outlines (silhouettes) of three phones arranged to form the number ‘100’, offering further hints about the Redmi K100 series.
Redmi K100 Series Expected Specifications
According to previous reports, the Redmi K100 series may feature an OLED display with a 185Hz refresh rate. Additionally, the smartphones are expected to come with an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor. The base model, Redmi K100, might offer an 8,500mAh battery with wireless charging support, while the Pro or Pro Max variants are expected to feature a larger 9,000mAh battery. Both models are likely to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor.
For photography, the Redmi K100 could feature a 200MP primary camera, a 50MP ultra-wide camera, and a 50MP telephoto-macro camera. Meanwhile, the Pro model might replace the standard telephoto lens with a 50MP periscope telephoto camera.
Other premium features expected in the Redmi K100 and Redmi K100 Pro include high-end stereo speakers, a large haptic motor, and IP68/IP69 dust and water resistance. If you are planning to buy a premium flagship smartphone, it might be worth waiting for the Redmi K100 series.
