Poco M8 Power: Smartphone manufacturer Poco is set to launch another new phone, the Poco M8 Power, in India. The device is scheduled to launch this Tuesday. Ahead of the launch, Xiaomi’s sub-brand has shared several details about the upcoming smartphone on the social media platform X. The company recently confirmed that it will feature an 8,000mAh battery and be powered by a Snapdragon 4 series chipset. It has been confirmed that the Poco M8 Power will run on Xiaomi’s latest HyperOS version, based on Android 16. Additionally, the phone will feature a dual-rear-camera setup. The Poco M8 Power is confirmed to feature LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.2 onboard storage. It will sport a matte rear panel and a metal frame. The display will be protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i. Poco has promised four OS upgrades and six years of security patches for the device.

The Poco M8 Power will feature a dual rear camera setup, headlined by a 50-megapixel AI main camera utilising the Light Fusion 400 sensor. For selfies and video calls, the handset will include an 8-megapixel front camera. It will offer various camera features, including Auto Night Mode, AI Eraser, AI Sky, AI Bokeh Portrait, and AI HDR optimisation. The Poco M8 Power will have a thickness of 8.45mm. The phone will be powered by Qualcomm’s 4nm octa-core Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 SoC. It will feature 8GB of RAM and an 8,000mAh battery, with a 10,416 sq mm graphite heat-dissipation area for thermal management.
