PM-VBRY Scheme: Under the PM Viksit Bharat Rozgar Yojana (PM-VBRY), eligible employees are required to complete a Financial Literacy Course (FLC) to become eligible for the second installment. Under this scheme, first-time employees can receive a total amount of up to ₹15,000, disbursed in two installments. If you have completed 12 months of employment and have already received the first installment, you can complete the required course by following a few simple steps.
When is the amount disbursed under the scheme?
According to the guidelines, the first installment is transferred directly to the eligible employee’s bank account after 6 months of continuous service. The second installment is transferred upon the completion of 12 months of service and the successful completion of the FLC assessment.
How to complete the FLC course on the EPFO portal:
To complete the FLC, you need to follow a few simple steps:
First, visit the EPFO portal and select the login option for eligible employees.
You will need your UAN (Universal Account Number) and password to log in.
An OTP (One-Time Password) will be sent to your registered mobile number; enter it to complete the verification process.
Once logged in, locate and click on the ‘PM-VBRY’ or ‘Learning’ section on the dashboard.
Select the ‘Financial Literacy Course’ option. This course consists of 5 learning modules; completing the requirements for one module will unlock the next.
Watch the videos within the modules carefully and complete the associated questions or assessments. It is mandatory to successfully complete the course assessment.
