PM Kisan Yojana: Big news for farmers. The 24th installment of PM Kisan Yojana is anticipated to be disbursed by the Modi government in October, benefiting numerous farmers awaiting the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi. The Agriculture Ministry has not issued an official statement yet, but it is likely that the funds will be deposited into farmers’ accounts soon.

Under this scheme, the Central Government distributes three installments to beneficiaries annually, with the 23rd installment amounting to Rs 18,880 crore being transferred in June. The total expenditure by the government through this initiative has reached Rs 4.46 lakh crore. The funds are typically disbursed in three phases – between April and July, August and November, and December and March.

It is mandatory for farmers who have not completed e-KYC to do so. This involves linking a mobile number to their Aadhaar. The e-KYC process can be completed online through the PM Kisan Portal or by visiting a Common Service Center (CSC) for biometric verification. Another option is to complete the process using the PM Kisan App on a mobile device.

To check if you are listed as a beneficiary, visit the PM Kisan Portal and navigate to the Farmers Corner, then select Beneficiary List. Enter accurate details of your state, district, tehsil, block, and village, and click on Report to view the list. Additionally, you can check your status by entering your registered mobile number, registration number, and captcha code on the website.
